Reccomendations For Multiple Os Backups?

What is your reccomendations/favorite/etc backup solution for making images of hard drives?

Needs to be able to make exact images of Unix, Linux, Windoze (multiple flavors), etc.

Prefer self booting, like say BartPE (wich I have used in the past).

Norton Ghost comes to mind first, but there are a number of good ones included along with Norton Ghost on the Hiren's boot CD and if you ever work on Windows machines the CD is almost a must have item. You can download the CD image from a torrent search. The tools on the CD are really amazing, including being able to reset Windows passwords.

If it is the password tool I am thinking of, I nearly gave the IT dept head security guy a heart attack when I used it in the plant I used to work at. Of course since his boss was standing right there watching me, and I got a $1,250,000 piece of equipment running after the IT dept botched a virus removal, not much was said...
