Apache On Freesco V04

Support section for FREESCO v0.4.x 3rd Party Packages

Because grc said "stealth" on port 80 that means that it is 100% for certain that your ISP is blocking port 80

As for accessing your web control panel from outside on port 82. I REALLY really do NOT recommend having the web control panel visible from outside. That is a huge security risk that should not be opened. If you really need to use the control panel from outside then I recommend using PuTTy to use a secure port through the SSH server for access to the internal web control panel. But to answer your question directly you would run the "setup" and enable the control panel in "y" mode and the just use http://your-url:82/ to access to control panel. But again I do not recommend doing that because it would grant "root" access to your router and your internal network if the password was hacked.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.

I am closing port 82 for security of being access to my control panel from the web. Make it available only from localnet. Lightning I think I am done with apache. Thank you so much to Lightning and Dingetje for your help. Thank you for directing me to the right track.

Moving to the latest version from the previous one it is not always smooth. Got another trouble. Then see you at the next topic at 3rd Party Package Support for FREESCO v0.4.x. Thanks again.

Hello:

I have install the beta apache_1.3.37_dingetje.tgz for 0.3.x in a 0.4.x freesco box.

When i look the admin web page (some like 192.168.1.1:82 or router.inet:82) i can see this. But when i put http://192.168.1.1 or http://router.inet or http://192.168.1.1:80 or http://router.inet:80, nothing occurs. only the error page. I can see the apache_1.3.27_dingetje.tgz in the admin control page.
When i restart the server, i have this message:

[root@router] rc_httpd reiniciar
Starting Apache HTTPS server... xxxx
[root@router]

I attach the error log of apache

Sorry but I doubt that anyone here is going to be able to help you get a 03x package working on a 04x system. There are just to many changes to make with the base package that will continue to cause all sorts of various problems. I do however have the 04x Apache package in progress and I will make an effort to get it finished.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
