Httptunnel_3.3_dingetje

This package is based on httptunnel at <a href='http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel/' target='_blank'>http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel/</a> and contains a server (hts) and client (htc).

The package does not contain any rc_ scripts to startup the server, it simply installs both binaries and a simple 'man' page.

httptunnel can be used to create a tunnel via HTTP requests for use behind very restrictive firewalls that allow only HTTP traffic.

There are Win32 clients available too for httptunnel, see httptunnel home page for the links.

Not really. You can SSH from work to your FREESCO so you can create the tunnel with PuTTY.
This solution allows to create a tunnel for even more restricted firewalls where one is only allowed HTTP connections.
