I'd like to suggest that someone with spare time on their hands (and a few clues ;] ) open another browser window to the <a href="http://www.freesco.net/cgi-bin/forum/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Headlines&BID=5" target=_new>old FAQ forum</a> and start pasting some of it here before it too turns into empty messages. That is the best help new users can ask for and it's a shame it's no longer easily visible.
I've started by copying (and summarising) the dyndns FAQ and I urge you all to copy one across, before we know it they'll all be here. (and if I'm out of line suggesting it here, I'm sure an admin can remove my post.) ;]

Hello CJR,<p>I think that sounds like a good idea to me.  I know this board will not always be here, as an official run board should be available soon, I hope, and then all of this info should be able to be "moved" to the new forum again, hopefully easier than the old info will get to this one here <p>I would also like to mention I have not seen a post from you to delete yet, so.......<p>Later,

I was thinking about setting up a new 'official' freesco page on SourceForge since, in Serge's absence, I appear to the only active (active?? heh) member left...
That way we can have forums, mailing lists, etc.. and what appears to be a fairly reliable host. I think Serge once said to me that the only reason he didn't use SourceForge was because for some reason he could not log in...<p>thoughts?

That sounds like an idea to me.  I do know thta K-Ray was talking about a new forum, but I have no idea what point it was at.  I think the main thing is to get the "old" "official" forum off line or redirected or something.  I still see a lot of people making posts.  I also noticed that the FREESCO sites still have links to it and none mention the temp forum here or any new one.  I think that FREESCO needs to get back on its feet (per websites) and stuff so then we do not have people going all over the place to get help and stuff.  A central location like SourceForge would be good.  I think I checked them out for mirroring and I know that part would be difficult, but then the packages and files do not need to be located there any how, but  thoise are my 2 cents worth at the moment.<p>Later,
