Asterisk is an open source PBX software. The most recent boom to asterisk is the ability to run on a LINKSYS WRT router though the OS of openWRT. With this implementation, it allows you to have a regular router run asterisk. I think it would be imperative for freesco to be able to do the same thing. The WRTs have no more than 4 Mb of ram so its not huge to have on there. If someone could make a freesco package for it for 0.3.x that would be awesome and vital to the freesco community.

Hi, and sorry.

As you have hopefully read elsewhere, Freesco is running a 2.0.xx series kernel, and per this page, it requires a 2.4.xx series kernel.

Might be someday, when they can figure how to make a 2.4 kernel and utilities fit on a single floppy.

Yes the 0.4.x series is still a lib5 2.0.x kernel.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
