squid proxy server

How come I can't find Squid in the freescosoft website anymore? I just installed it a several days ago.

Well I just double checked and it is definately there. I do know there has been some minor problems with the machine being off line for short periods of time lately. But it should install with

pkg -i -/squid-2.5.s3-lightning

But make certain that your primary download site is set to a FREESCOsoft mirror that is close to where you are.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.

I just checked it right now 08/22/2004 0200 (+0800). Its definitely there. www.freescosoft.com.home.0.3.x/

It's not listed under option 2, with the default URL.

However, typing in the package name works, so perhaps the list needs investigating...?
