PCMCIA CardBus Adapters can it be done?

I was just wondering if the pcmcia package would work with CardBus adapters.

Yes as long as the specific card is supported in the package.

Sorry I just noticed that I posted in 0.3.x, it should have been in 0.4.x.
I am using Freesco 0.4.0 with the pcmcia-3.1.34-lightning package.

My problem is a D-link DFE-680TX that is supported by the package has far as I can see. I insert the card and get two beeps, 1st one that its been inserted (good beep), 2nd one a (bad beep) client drive not loaded. I have a old Linksys 16-bit that works no problems. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3800.

I see the card SHOULD be supported, however I am not sure that any of the 32 bit parts of this package have ever really been tested, although it was compiled with 32 bit support. But you can try adding this into your /etc/pcmcia/config file

The other question to be sure of is that your card bus adapter is also 32 bit enabled.
