Please, people. tell me how to mount this disk ?
Disk made by CentOS 4.
On Freesco v0.3.8 sfdisk -l said this
Code: Select all
Disk /dev/hdc: 1871 cylinders, 255 heads, 63 sectors/track
Units = cylinders of 8225280 bytes, blocks of 1024 bytes, counting from 0

Device Boot Start     End   #cyls   #blocks   Id  System
/dev/hdc1   *      0+     12      13-   104391   83  Linux
/dev/hdc2         13    1870    1858  14924385   8e  Linux LVM
/dev/hdc3          0       -       0         0    0  Empty
/dev/hdc4          0       -       0         0    0  Empty

hdc1 mount without problem, but hdc2 ...
Code: Select all
[root@Freesco] mount /dev/hdc2 /mnt/hd
mount: Mounting /dev/hdc2 on /mnt/hd failed: Invalid argument

with -t ext2 it's same.

Unfortunately the "Large Volume Manager" is not supported in FREESCO. In most cases to use a disk with FREESCO means the disk must be created with FREESCO and after that it can be seen and used by all other Linux systems. But it doesn't work the other way around.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.

Porably exist boot flopy with LVM support ?
I need a mini shell for simple operation with files CentOS.

Sorry for dummy question... :-[
My trouble isn't trouble. I took the rescue mode from install CD.
