dingetje,
What am I doing wrong or is it your site? I am trying to download the package and I cannot. I have tried it many times with no success.

/boot/3955~/perl_5.6.1_d  [########################]    5665K |  71.95K/s
5801736 bytes transferred in 78.75 sec (71.95k/sec)
Unpacking perl_5.6.1_dingetje.tgz .. Done
cd: can't cd to /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1
/boot/3955~/perl_5.6.1_dingetje: cannot open i386-linux.tgz: No such file or directory
i386-linux.tgz seems to be corrupt, try downloading again.
BusyBox v0.60.5-Freesco (02/18/2007) multi-call binary

Usage: rm [OPTION]... FILE...

Thanks

Try this package instead
Code: Select all
pkg -i http://lewys-spot.dyndns.org:1080/packages/0.3.x/perl-5.6.1-1-dingetje

The problem relates to some differences in the new tar/star binary and the way the original package was tar'ed. The new tar/star no longer has the character restriction that was present in older versions of FREESCO. However it does have some quirks that relate to this package which had multiple tarballs in it.
If you are afraid that you might make a mistake. The chances are high that you will never learn anything.
