As far as I searched this forum when starting to work with freesco, I could find only request for scripts (better packages) that could count network statistics for internal network clients when running freesco as a gateway. That is why I have written this script and finally packged it share with community :)

Stat is an ipfw-based statistic counter system written in shell scripts.
It requires awk, sed.
Consiscts of three parts:
1. config file: /pkg/etc/stat.cfg
2. main system script: /pkg/rc/rc_stat
NOTE: check your cron file to have a line like this:
0 * * * * /pkg/rc/rc_stat flush 1>/dev/null 2>/dev/null
3. flush script: /pkg/bin/
it is called on every "rc_stat flush" for every monitored ip passing ip and current statistic data in bytes: network in/out, internet in/out. It can be easily rewritten to save statistic in your preferrable way, for ex. to save data MySQL DB. Included writes statistic to text files under /www/data

Please use it, test it and post me your comments.
When you change/upgrade something please also let me know :)

Nice and simple! Based on the default build-in accounting capability of the FREESCO firewall.

How about saving data in rrdtool database and add a small web based frontend?
